Needless to say, being back in the “dog-eat-dog”… “fast-and-furious”… “balls-to-the-wall”… “work-a-day” world, Slipper and I get pretty stoked… excited… and wild about getting back outside. You might say that we are all about PUTTING THE “WILD” IN WILDERNESS!

With us both being off work on Sundays, we are “WILD” about getting back into our church… our sanctuary… our place of peace… our refuge… our home.

For those of you who understand what getting outside does for your soul, you can appreciate the title to this blog: PUTTING THE “WILD” IN WILDERNESS. For others, Slipper and I encourage you to break away from the everyday, mundane and routine actions of the week and get outside!

Put down the make-up… step away from the mirror… don’t worry about the perfume or the cologne… no need to shave… just get outside and start PUTTING THE “WILD” IN WILDERNESS!

It doesn’t have to be a thru-hike of The Appalachian Trail! It doesn’t have to be an overnighter! It doesn’t have to be an all-day episode! Just make the decision to change things up a bit and start PUTTING THE “WILD” IN WILDERNESS!

You can probably tell by the smiles on our faces that we enjoy the outdoors every chance we get to be out in it! It is our way to relax… to relieve some stress… to be refreshed… and to revive ourselves for another opportunity to serve in the work-a-day world.

WOW! We are already looking forward to our next chance of PUTTING THE “WILD” IN WILDERNESS!
