I am truly honored, humbled, and happy to officiate the Beach Wedding of Rebecca (Becky) and Tim in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on September 10, 2023.

A new way of life has begun for this couple, and the weather was outstanding and complimentary to introduce “Life Is A Beach.”

My long time friend: James Criswell (Jimbo), walks his daughter across the sand in acknowledgement and approval of the marital promises she is about to make.

I am proud to be acquainted and associated with this family as I stand at the Altar witnessing each participant make their way in.

Placing both hands upon the Bride and Groom, the Father Of The Bride blesses what is about to take place.

The ceremony theme: “Love Wins” is genuinely portrayed and greatly promoted throughout the entire ceremony.

As soon as the Wedding begins, Bystanders who understand “Life Is A Beach” stop to observe the beauty of the Bride and Groom and the beauty of the Commitments each one is making with the other.

One can only smile and enjoy this picture and presentation of a Winning Love.

Becky and Tim (as both Participants and Promise-Makers) are keenly aware of how their love for one another brings them to this place in time when “Life Is A Beach”.

From Crafted Words… to a Sand Visual… to Selected Songs… to a Ring Warming… to Promises Committed… it becomes apparent to all that Love Wins and that “Life Is A Beach.”

Introducing the Ring of the Bride and Groom placed within a Wooden Ring Box, each parent is invited to take the Ring Box… place it in the Palm of the Hand (as if to warm them) and to speak a silent prayer and blessing over the rings of their children.

This is as moving as the photo portrays.

The Colored Sand ( Purple representing the Bride… Blue representing the Groom… and White representing The Holy Spirit) become intertwined as the Bride & Groom pour their Sand into an Hourglass.

With promises communicated and rings conveyed, it is my joy to present this couple as Husband and Wife.

One thing is for sure…

After the anticipated Kiss and all parties celebrating the moment, it becomes evidenced and enjoyed by all that “Life Is A Beach!”
