WE LOVE VIRGINIA!
While the state of Virginia contains 500+ miles of the Appalachian Trail… we love it! This (so far) is an absolutely beautiful state and the vast array of hiking terrain is much appreciated.
I have already commented on this special trait of Virginia, and while I have heard other Hikers comment about “The Virginia Blues”… the “blue” that we enjoy of Virginia is how the blue skies provide the perfect backdrop for the mountainous… meadow… pasture… and farm land terrain that we are enthralled about.
If Virginia has captured our love this early on in our hike of the state, I can only imagine how the scenery will intensify the further north we hike… especially as Spring matures into Summer.
It is only appropriate that we take a slower stroll through Virginia… why???… because VIRGINIA IS FOR LOVERS.
