One thing that can START ME UP is a beautiful mountain view! Slipper’s son (commenting about our lifestyle of living full time in an Airstream) says, “All you two need is a great view and a cup of coffee.” So true!
We discover a small Campground (10 minutes from Slipper’s sister’s Asheville home) with these amazing views!
As we begin approaching the Campsite, we sense that this will be a good place to rest our heads for the night.
While the Public Restrooms can use a bit of attention, the amenities compensate for the attention needed.
We enjoy the amenity of a Hiking Trail that leads to a small, still Pond and eating Blackberries along the way.
This particular Campground is not a Federal or State Park, but it a nice little getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.
What can I say! Show me a great mountain view… a Hiking Trail… a still, small pond… and some Blackberries to eat along the way and I’ll tell you that you have enough to START ME UP!
