So… are you a Roller Coaster fan? Do you enjoy riding the Roller Coaster at an Amusement Park? Are you one of those persons who wants to ride in the front car of the Roller Coaster? Do you hope that your visit to the park next year comes with the installation of a brand new type of Roller Coaster? ROLLER COASTER… SAY WHAT?
While the Roller Coaster Section of the trail will tease you with a few “switchbacks” to get you up the hill (much like an Amusement Park Roller Coaster pulling away from the Boarding Section), you’d better “tighten up those boots straps, baby” cause you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!
ROLLER COASTER… SAY WHAT?
You make a quick turn and then it’s “clink… clink… ckink… clink… clink… clink” (is that the sound a Roller Coaster makes as it is going up a high & tall hill… or the sound of rocks pounding your feet as you boulder climb up a high & tall hill??? You decide!)
Before you know it… you “nose dive” straight to the bottom ( to where the descent takes your breath away) and your feet splash the water (to make the ride that much more interesting).
We did this all day… to the point that our feet are no longer numb… they are pain- stakingly unbearable!

I started the hike singing this song from the past (ROLLER COASTER… SAY WHAT?)… and ended the hike thinking to say muddy words from my past!
This is a shadow of my image at the end of the day giving a hand gesture to the rocks that pounded my feet all day! Just in case you are wondering… I am applauding the rocks. Right?
