Wow! Maine… the final state that we are to hike thru to complete this epic journey of a lifetime. It is hard to believe that we are approaching the Hundred Mile Wilderness, and in a matter of days, summiting Mount Katadin.
We have had the opportunity of talking with South Bound Thru-Hikers (who have just completed what we are about to begin), and they speak in wonder and amazement of this final trek.
I must say, for me, Maine has been “MEMORABLE MAINE” for me. When you add lakes, ponds and evergreens to the terrain of mountains and streams, it just doesn’t get any better than this!
