What do we do when the “weather outside is frightful?” We create the opportunities for MAKING OUR CHRISTMAS BRIGHT!

What better way of doing this than hiking a trail? I know of no better way!

Less than a 1/2 hour from our home is The Wildcat Trail of the Dawson Forest (one that we hiked for the first time this Christmas season).

It is a beautiful trail with some sweet tent camping sites nestled in along the creek. With other connecting trails, you can make this a short 3 mile loop or longer out & back hike. Either way, this is how we are MAKING OUR CHRISTMAS BRIGHT!

About a mile off the paved road, park the vehicle at a camp site that will occupy several tent campers and the trailhead begins there. Needless to say, this is a “bright” discovery and one that we can say is paramount to MAKING OUR CHRISTMAS BRIGHT!

Of course, I know what some of you are probably thinking… “TRIPPER, it’s that bright orange vest that’s MAKING OUR CHRISTMAS BRIGHT!” Point well taken! 😊
