Well… it’s been a long time coming, but we are officially on top of the mountain and truly “Livin’ the Dream” because after all HOME IS WHERE YOU PARK IT.
We have made tons of memories embarking on the fulfillment of a dream and we are blessed to witness it becoming a reality.
Our Builder (Preferred Custom Builders) caught our vision early on and has been persistent in building it into existence.
We can’t say enough about David Dickerson and his crew! While they may not be the largest Builder Group, they have far exceeded themselves in the quality of construction (from grading and excavation to the last nail and screw being applied). We highly recommend Preferred Custom Builders to whomever is building a custom build and/or any restoration project… permanent or mobile… because HOME IS WHERE YOU PARK IT.
We are currently in the “Punch Out” stage of construction, and are daily amazed by the solitude, the sacredness, the sights, sounds and sweetness of living atop the mountain.
When we lived on our Houseboat, our Houseboat was appropriately named: “Pinch Me.”
Perhaps we should name our Tiny House: “Pinch Me Again”… because HOME IS WHERE YOU PARK IT.
The views and Sunset Sights are to die for! We absolutely feel like kids again, who become giddie over the least little thing that happens.
From Alfie (our Airstream)… to the Screen Porch… to the Tiny House… to the Outdoor Living Space, we maintain the excitement of an approaching holiday.
Slipper and I believe that our current lifestyle is as close to thru-hiking The Appalachian Trail as it can be (while building our professional real estate careers). While hiking, our home was wherever we would pitch our tent. Today, HOME IS WHERE YOU PARK IT.
