Take care of your feet and your feet will take care of you! We hiked our second 12 miler today and needed to take a break (or two) to care for our feet. It’s a good thing that our feet can’t speak, because they would be cussing-us-out for the torture we have put them through over the past few days.
As we descended into Tesnatee Gap, we saw a patch of green grass on the other side of the road… threw out a tarp.. dropped off our packs… and bathed in the sunshine (while waving at passer-bys)… before ascending up the “ELEVATOR SHAFT” at Ravens Cliffs Wilderness.
Here’s to looking at you kid!
Today’s weather and temperature would be welcome for the remainder of our hike… and our feet would love us.
