I must say that walking thru FERNVILLE, VERMONT (where all you see on the ground… for as far as you can see on the ground… are ferns) was a pleasant sight atop this mountain.
Although the predominant color is still green… hiking out into these fields of ferns was a welcomed sight coming out from “The Green Tunnel” (that we have been in for so long).
The hike down from FERNVILLE, VERMONT (a name that I have labeled these fields… just like a person is labeled with a “Trail Name”)… is not quite as pleasant… unfortunately!

The “Boulder Hopping” aggravates my feet (Plantar Fasciitis) to the point I have to visit the Urgent Care Facility in the closest town for Shot #2 (in hopes of completing our hike).
Now it’s time to be off the feet for the remainder of the day! Maybe I can talk Slipper into returning to FERNVILLE, VERMONT.
