We love the quaint and cool vibe of Kent, Connecticut! We camped along side 10 Mile River last night and decided that we would spend FATHER’S DAY IN KENT, CONNECTICUT!

We hiked into camp around 4:30 pm yesterday afternoon and when we saw the river, we knew this would be the place to be. We set up camp and immediately headed into the river for a swim. Ahhhh… nice!

While lounging in the water, we made the decision to spend FATHER’S DAY IN KENT, CONNECTICUT.

The hike into town was close to 10 miles and Slipper has an App called Gutt-Hooks (a detailed topographic GPS of the Appalachian Trail) and so she knows when the “views” are coming up. She steps out in the photo above looking for the town (being we are spending FATHER’S DAY IN KENT, CONNECTICUT).

As we descend to the trailhead, we catch a ride into town in less than 60 seconds! Thanks Andre for the ride in! You are “Da Man!”

We get into town… eat lunch… stop off by the local Outfitters and run into “Civi” (whom we have had the pleasure of meeting while on the trail). It’s always nice to see a familiar face in town… after all we are here for FATHER’S DAY IN KENT, CONNECTICUT!

Stay tuned for more, as we continue to put our BEST foot forward… but for now… it’s FATHER’SDAY IN KENT, CONNECTICUT
