Well… we are stoked… excited… ready… and looking forward to moving to the top of the mountain, but until then we will FAKE IT TILL YA MAKE IT!
Slipper and I decide to “tent camp” on the property in order to get-a-feel for what life might be like on-the-top, and we absolutely love it. How much do we love it? So much so that we will FAKE IT TILL YA MAKE IT!
We set the 3-Person CopperSpur UL3 Tent up on the foundation of the to-be-built Screen Porch and drifted off to sleep watching the sun set.
I don’t believe that we will ever get tired of watching the beauty of a sunset from the top of this mountain. While it is truly worth the drive to experience, to think that we will soon be taking up residence here is mind-blowing. Until that time we will FAKE IT TILL YA MAKE IT!
The sky at sunset is a moving and ever-changing portrait from the Divine and we are always in awe of His majesty and beauty. From blues, to pinks, to greys, to orange, to yellow, to black, watching the sunset from this vantage point is never a dull moment. Are we ready for it? Absolutely! Until that time we FAKE IT TILL YA MAKE IT!
The sound of the tent, backpack and sleeping bad zipper… the taste of bottled water… the smell of leaves… the feel of the chilled night breeze… the light of the moon and stars… is a quick reminder of our NOBO Thru-Hike of The Appalachian Trail. We truly wish we were doing it again, but as for now we’ll FAKE IT TILL WE MAKE IT.
