Did I say in an earlier post that we love Connecticut? If not… let me say it now… WE LOVE CONNECTICUT and the CONNECTICUT CHARM!
Slipper and I both commented how much the views remind us of the North Georgia Mountains! I think (truth be known) we are both a little home sick.
Being that we live in “The First Mountain City” of North Georgia… the above photo looks like the city we live in… wait a minute as I dry a tear… and as you play the smallest violin with your thumb and little finger.
It’s a good thing that there is not a taxi close by… just kidding… but we are missing home a bit. This CONNECTICUT CHARM has softened us!
As we are doing a little pasture hiking, we look up and envision our community tucked up in the mountains (sniff… sniff… sniff). Dang CONNECTICUT CHARM!
A part of the CONNECTICUT CHARM (in regards to camping) is that we are to camp in designated camping areas (which usually has a place to dry laundry… a privy… and a water source). While we thoroughly enjoy “stealth camping,” I will say that the camp sites that are designated in this state are quite charming (just a part of CONNECTICUT CHARM).
