As important as it is to get to the top of Mount Katahdin in Maine, it is also important to revel in A LONG AWAITED PHOTO OPPORTUNITY at The Appalachian Trail Conservancy Headquarters in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.
We check in… purchase a cold soft drink (or two)… have our photo taken… and I sign us up in the 2016 Thru-Hiker Log Book as #307 & #308 Thru-Hiker of the The Appalachian Trail!
The AT Conservancy office is well thought out and is truly worth visiting if you are ever near Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.
So… celebrate with us as we have officially fulfilled and satisfied A LONG AWAITED PHOTO OPPORTUNITY and as we continue to put our BEST foot forward towards Mount Katahdin!
