We wanted a place to stay in Front Royal (after leaving the monsoons of The Shenandoah) and decided to give WOODWARD HOUSE OF FRONT ROYAL a call to see if we could be accommodated. Joan (B&B Owner) confirmed that she had a room available. YES! YES! YES! WOODWARD HOUSE, FRONT ROYAL would be the place to get warm… shower… do laundry… resupply… and eat!
When we arrived, Joan loaned us her vehicle to get everything done in town that we needed to do!
When we returned to “officially” check into WOODWARD HOUSE OF FRONT ROYAL, Joan had upgraded our room WITHOUT upgrading the price! SHE IS AWESOME!
The Queen Suite was perfect (especially with the home made cookies… snacks… and drinks in the room) and you know that you will be treated like Kings and Queens when you are given robes to wear (like the ones on the back of the door).
We were pleasantly surprised when Joan said, “There are complimentary drinks at the bar this evening… please join us.” What? An open bar? FREE?
Mom… I had ice water and tea to drink! That is not my beer on the counter! That is the Owner’s! (JK)
The next morning we were surprised (yet again) by the personalized seating and menu ordering for an incredible breakfast (that will allow you to skip lunch).
