Believe me… Autumn Breeze of North Woodstock is the place to stay (if you are one of the five fortunate ones to secure a super clean and nicely appointed room).
Ann not only runs a great motel, but she also is gracious enough to shuttle to and from the trail.
She has Laundry abilities here! THIS IS HOW AN INDEPENDENT MOTEL SHOULD BE!
She has ample electrical outlets for phone charging! THIS IS HOW AN INDEPENDENT MOTEL SHOULD BE!
She has floor space for packs (luggage)! THIS IS HOW AN INDEPENDENT MOTEL SHOULD BE!
She has a Kitchenette for “in room” edibles! THIS IS HOW AN INDEPENDENT MOTEL SHOULD BE!
She has even “stocked” the small refrigerator with drinks! Did I say, “THIS IS HOW AN INDEPENDENT MOTEL SHOULD BE!?”
The Bathroom has an obvious “woman’s touch” to detail and cleanliness! THIS IS HOW AN INDEPENDENT MOTEL SHOULD BE!
And speaking of “Detail,” we are greeted by a hand-written welcome from Ann (herself).
Hikers… if you know that you will be coming into Lincoln or North Woodstock (either town), make sure to call and see if you can be one of the fortunate ones to stay here for a night or two.
