So… if you haven’t figured it out just yet… we are B&B Hikers rather than Hostel Hikers (which means this- when we come into town, we stay at a local Bed & Breakfast rather than the local Hiker Hostel). Nothing against Hostels! We are thrilled that they exist! We just desire the comforts of home when we come into town.
The Belle Hearth B&B (in the Feature Photo), owned by Wayne and Linda, is a historic home with 7 fireplaces that still maintains the charm of its history.
As you step onto the Front Porch and through the door, you are welcomed with the view of a Sitting Room with Fireplace.
Flanked to the right of the Welcoming Sitting Room is a Stately Appointed Family Room with Fireplace.
Step through the 10′ Pocket Door Opening and you are in the Breakfast Area with Fireplace that is beautifully enhanced with soft music that will calm any anxiety that you may have.
We had the distinct joy of meeting Jesus and Jessica while eating breakfast at THE BELLE HEARTH B&B and enjoyed the conversations shared around the table while breaking bread with this lovely couple. Thank you again, Jesus, for your service in The Army!
Did I mention “Breakfast” and “Breaking Bread?” Feast your eyes on this morning’s Breakfast of a Stuffed Croissant with Bacon! Nuff said!
Our upstairs Private Queen Room was the Rose Room for the first night, and being that we have enjoyed our stay… we have asked to stay yet another night and tonight it will be in The Irish Room.
Each Bedroom of THE BELLE HEARTH B&B has its own Fireplace, and there is not a room in the house lacking in decor.
When you are in Waynesboro, Virginia… the place to stay is THE BELLE HEARTH B&B. The placement is centrally located in town and you can walk to wherever it is that you desire to go.
Enjoy the charm… Enjoy the character… Enjoy the calm that you are certain to discover at THE BELLE HEARTH B&B.
