For the Hikers who have had the exhilarated joy of hiking through the White Mountains, we know what a Rock Carin is and its purpose.

For those who might be a bit curious, a Rock Carin is a Stack-Of-Rocks used to help “point-the-way” of the Trail for Travelers during inclement weather when visibility is extremely limited.

This month I was The Rock-It Man and actually built the 6’2″ Rock Carin that you see in the pics.

Now this is where it gets a little strange… specific… special… and even a bit spiritual.

I actually built this particular Rock Carin as a monument for where my ashes are to be placed when I leave this world.

This past year my life has been effected by the sudden loss of family and friends who are very dear to me. While it was certainly painful, the pain actually transformed into “creative planning & purpose” for me.

I don’t want my passing to ever leave my family weary from wondering what to do and when to do it, so I have taken the time to personally & purposefully plan my “memorial” service.

I know… I know… I know… Tripper that sounds sick! Not really! For me it has been specific… special… spiritual… and yes… maybe a bit strange. But it’s done!

Slipper and our family don’t have to second guess a thing! Just go to the front of my Bible and an instructional hard copy is there.  BAM💥 There it is!

ROCK-IT MAN has been hard at work and it has been fun.

The Rock Carin is symbolic of my life purpose in “pointing-the-way” for others (and being that I am 6’2″ tall, the Rock Carin is also 6’2″ tall).

Some might refer to it’s as an altar, but for me it’s simply a “memorial” for a future Memorial Service for THE ROCK-IT MAN.

Now wait a minute… do I hear you singing the Elton John song: “Rocket Man?”

BTW… the Elton John song is NOT one that is selected to the future service. Just sayin’!
