There is no doubt that the most MEMORABLE MAGIC is found in people!
The Feature Photo shows us with “Styles” (far left) and a South Bound Thru-Hiker (far right)! “Styles” and the SOBO were ascending the same mountain that we were descending, when “Styles” stops to ask our Trail Name. When we tell him, his eyes light up as he says, “I’m following you on Instagram!”
We all gathered around as “Styles” said, “I have something for you!,” and as he reaches in his pack to pull out two bags of doughnuts (Chocolate and Cinnamon) and two bags (that he had made) of M&M, we are reminded that the most MEMORABLE MAGIC is found in people.
Another source of MEMORABLE MAGIC is found in the discovery of the special… secret… stealth camp site of solitude (like the photo above).
Slipper and I choose to sleep in our tent and it’s MEMORABLE MAGIC when that special stealth site is discovered.
We have run across (let me correct that… walk across…) other Northbound Hikers who say, “We have heard about you and its nice to finally meet up with you! We are surprised that we have not met you until now!”
The secret is in the MEMORABLE MAGIC!
