It looks like a postcard image, right? That’s because it is! This is the BEST TENT CAMP SITE TO DATE!
We hiked over the summit of Roan Mountain and were planning to stay at Overmountain Shelter (a Red Barn converted to a Hiker Shelter). We were hoping to get there before Dark:30 and came walking in before sunset!
We were “blown away” (I’ll talk a bit more about this in the upcoming post) as we walked into camp and saw the views. Of course, we were not the only ones who knew “this” was the place to camp!
Many found their place in the Redistance Barn, while we “tent campers” enjoyed the BEST TENT CAMP SITE TO DATE!
