If it is true that “BEAUTY IS IN THE EYES OF THE BEHOLDER” then Slipper and I want to encourage you to find a trail… get outside… take a hike… and enjoy the beauty that you are sure to discover.
While not everyone can take a 6 month vacation and attempt to thru-hike The Appalachian Trail, most everyone can invest some time to break away from the inside and see what beauty can be detected outside.
If you have the health and stamina to take only an “in & out day hike” travel up Highway 64 (out of Georgia into North Carolina) and begin the hike (walking north) at Winding Stair Gap toward Stiler Bald. OMG! Hike to the top of the bald and fill your eyes… your mind… your senses… and your soul with the beauty that will be in the eyes of YOU, the Beholder.
