We have been in “The Green Tunnel” for awhile! The Green Tunnel is reference to the trail because of its dense canopy of trees and foliage. When we stepped out from the tunnel to capture this view, it was A PHOTO FINISH to a day!
As we descended down a mountain, we were greeted by a Bird Watcher and Former Thru-Hiker (of 1976) along the Boardwalk picturedo above. When we came across this Adirondack Chair… for us… it was A PHOTO FINISH!
Walking through a few overgrown pastures today this silo and barn (pictured above) became A PHOTO FINISH to this particular section of today’s hike.
As we make our way into Kent, Connecticut tomorrow (Father’s Day), we anticipate A PHOTO FINISH into this quaint town. Check back soon for the latest update with A PHOTO FINISH!
