Our intent for this upcoming year is to “Get Outdoors” more! It’s really as simple as that! 2017 has been the year of Career Change for myself and Slipper, and we strive to find the balance between career & creation… work & wilderness… job and just-being-outside! As a result, this Christmas is A KAYAK KINDA CHRISTMAS!
While Slipper and I enjoy canoeing in our Old Towne Canoe, this year just seemed like a good year to have A KAYAK KINDA CHRISTMAS and to gift ourselves with a Wilderness System Pungo 120 Kayak (Slipper’s is the Galaxy Color and mine is the Mango Color).
Being less than a 1/2 mile from our lake, we can be launched and paddling in 15 minutes.
This is the first kayaking experience for Slipper, and I wasn’t quite sure how she would like it.
Like a fish-to-water, in no time at all Slipper is paddling the morning of Christmas Eve away!
I think the smile on our faces tell the story… A KAYAK KINDA OF CHRISTMAS is the perfect kinda Christmas for an outdoor enthusiast. Now is we could only “walk-on-water😊!”
Maybe in another life! Until then, we will continue to enjoy A KAYAK KINDA CHRISTMAS!
