Perhaps more people would visit town more often if they had A BEAUTIFUL APPROACH INTO TOWN, like the approach we have into Pearisburg, Virginia.
While we enjoy the constant and consistent beauty of a “trash-free” trail (except perhaps the “Hiker Trash” that walk it)… as we descend into neighboring towns, we comment on how ugly life becomes as we road walk into the neighboring town and witness all the discarded trash and garbage littering the roads and streets.
If we could somehow make the entrance into our towns and cities look as nice… clean… and A BEAUTIFUL APPROACH INTO TOWN (as in the above photos), we would all become more proud of the town and/or city we are from.
So… in YOUR world… town… or city, let us encourage you to do your part in making (and maintaining) A BEAUTIFUL APPROACH INTO TOWN.
~ Please don’t toss trash from your vehicle…
~ Please don’t throw a cigarette butt onto the ground…
~ Please don’t discard unwanted items along side the roads…
Carry what “trash” you may have to the correct collection bin.
When there is A BEAUTIFUL APPROACH INTO TOWN, You too will be heard to say, “There’s No Place Like Home” (whether you wear ruby slippers or not).
