The above Feature Photo is a bit out of sequence, but it just occurred to me that I have not yet posted our 900 Mile Marker for you to join us in celebrating!
So… here we are at 900 GOING ON A THOUSAND! YAY! WHOOP-WHOOP! ROCK IT! (maybe I shouldn’t say, ROCK IT, for we will be doing plenty of that in Pennsylvania).
We are thrilled to be so close to crossing the 1,000 mile that we don’t know what to do! As you can see from photos past… we have officially hiked from Winter into Spring… and we will soon be hiking from Spring into Summer.
While visibility has been the daily challenge during our trek of The Shenandoah, we have done our best to capture some views that you can enjoy with us.
While I simply wasn’t fast enough to capture a photo of a couple of bear we saw crossing the road, I was able to snap a shot of a deer as she was running away.
We are grateful that you have stayed with us through our first 900 miles and we can only begin to imagine what we will experience as we are beyond 900 GOING ON A THOUSAND.
