Let’s be honest… not ALL tradition is necessary to hold onto, but some tradition should be embraced and continued because of its legacy… its memory… its joy… its fulfillment… and because IT’S WHAT WE DO!
This season each year our children and grandchildren come up to the mountains for the day and we visit Burt’s Farm, BJ Reece Apple Orchard and close the day out with a Mexican Dinner and Ice Cream Dessert.
The day begins with a picnic lunch down by the lake where we can all get out and play… from sliding down the sliding boards, to swinging on the swing sets, to throwing the softball, to skipping rocks!
While this particular Family Tradition is only once a year, it is a full throttle… wide open day of creating memories that will last us yet another year. Why? Because IT’S WHAT WE DO!
