Who doesn’t like the ocean? While we were on the trail, family decided it would be a great thing to book a place in Florida for a Thru-Hike Celebration (rather than attempt to meet us in Maine after our Mount Katahdin summit). Great call! The ocean along Rosemary Beach is absolutely beautiful and the weather boasts sunny skies with temperatures in the low – mid 80’s.
The water temperature is perfect with the weather temperature and so we are able to keep our feet in the ocean water for some amazing FOOT THERAPY!
Crazy thing… both of my feet remain numb (from the balls of both feet to the tip of my toes) after returning from our 2016 thru-hike of The Appalachian Trail! How long will the feet will remain numb? Only time will tell!
Until then, it is important to continue FOOT THERAPY (and this week it is via a sand massage from the beach… hydo-jet massage from the hot tub… and salt water massage from the ocean).
Can I get an, “Amen!”
